"LIVE NOISE ALIVE" -Live at Daikanyama Unit-
Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Studio Album NOISE with a new Live Album Release.
The live recording of the final show from the 2014 Live Noise Alive tour is being released as a limited 2LP with exclusive vinyl colors (Worldwide & Japan web store only)
The studio album "NOISE" was released in 2014.
Starting with "PINK" in 2005, which was Boris' breakthrough overseas, followed by "SMILE" in 2006, these two albums became the starting point for a full-fledged touring band with over 100 shows a year. After many experimental productions, the band released three albums in 2011: "Heavy Rocks", "Attention Please" and "New Album". After overcoming various situations, such as the departure of long-time support guitarist Michio Kurihara, Boris arrived at an extremely organic sound image that was free from the grid.
The NOISE album, titled "Your Noise, My Music", is not just a culmination of their previous work, but a milestone that clearly shows what lies ahead.
This live album "Live Noise Alive" is a recording of the final solo live performance at Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo on September 23, 2014, on the last day of their Japan tour following their extensive US headline tour where they performed 27 shows in 35 days.
The tracklist of this live album mainly consists songs from "NOISE" but also futures few tunes from their past releases. The sound image of the live shows evolved and deepened through the response of the audience every day during the tour which helped to form this very live and final recording of songs from NOISE. This very tour was the essential component that completed "NOISE" as an album.
Boris hopes that the audience who witnessed it in real time back then, as well as young listeners who have recently discovered Boris, will enjoy this release not only as a live album, but as a rite of passage, a new album.
